I’ve been a huge fan of Fireworks since I started using it for web designs over a decade ago when it was still in the hands of Macromedia. Unfortunately Adobe, who bought Macromedia and their suite of software, announced they would discontinue the software last year. Since then I’ve been thinking about alternatives and have finally decided to move on and find an alternative.

I’ve worked on many bookshop websites before but this design for Lion Hudson is the first where the brief specified that the design had to appeal to an audience from children to adults. It presented an interesting challenge which I think we’ve surmounted.
We just launched a new intranet website for Waterstones staff called Waterstones Compass Media Watch. It is a specially branded version of the web-based resource Books & Media, a website I designed and which we launched last year.
Just launched a new e-commerce website for Yale University Press. Such an honour to work for such a great client. There’s lots of content on the site so it was a bit of a challenge to present it well but I think it looks great.
